An Extended Dct Image Watermarking against Geometrical Attacks

Digital watermarking is an important technology in today’s world for protecting multimedia content from illegal copying of data. It is a process of concealing information. The main purpose of digital watermarking provided more robustness and integrity against geometrical attacks. In this paper, various digital watermarking techniques have been discussed and identified the best technique by comparing the results from deriving algorithms. Finally, a few remarks are made about the state of the art and possible future developments in watermarking technology. In this paper, DCT with Quantization Zig-Zag scan watermarking have been described. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm enhances the security against attacks such as cutting, random noise attack and JPEG compression and provide copyright protection. Results of DCT with Quantization and Zig-Zag Scan are measuring by parameters such PSNR, BER and MSE.
